Metro and the ECE to form a joint venture

The shopping center specialist ECE created a joint venture for the take over operation of the Metro department stores.

The ECE and the Metro Properties, dealing with Metro's real estate business form the Metro-ECE Centermanagement (MEC) joint venture with a 50-50 percent stake. The MEC will take over the monitoring over operations, marketing and leasing from the first of October in 38 German retail center in Germany – reports portfolio.hu.
