General assembly and meeting
The annual general meeting of POPAI Hungary was held in the SPAR Pávaház training room, with more than 80% of members present.

The room was filled with members attending POPAI’s Annual General Assembly and Meeting
General secretary Ildikó Kátai presented the report about last year and financial results sheet for 2023, which were unanimously approved by those present.

Then a trade programme followed, where SPAR’s head of marketing Károly Németh gave a presentation on the current challenges in retail and how shopping habits are changing. The proliferation of loyalty programmes indicates that the battle for loyal customers is intensifying. SPAR is finding its way to shoppers through more efficient and transparent POS and shelf communication and new promotional concepts. //
