The SPAR on Hűvösvölgyi út was renovated with nearly one and a half billion forints
Not only a complete internal modernization and external facade renovation, but also an expansion of services was carried out at the investment of the SPAR supermarket on Hűvösvölgyi út in Budapest, which was transformed this year at a cost of around one and a half billion forints.
“When the II we decided to renovate our district supermarket. We have not only modernized the existing space, but also expanded it with an external SPAR toGo unit, so that in addition to SPAR’s usual wide range, we are also waiting for customers with fresh, hot food made locally,”
said Márk Maczelka, SPAR Hungary’s head of communications.
The entire equipment of the SPAR sales area at Hűvösvölgyi út 138, Budapest, was renewed during the construction: new refrigerator and bakery furniture, vegetable racks, cash registers were added, and self-service cash registers also help with convenient and quick shopping. Both the interior and the facade of the building follow SPAR’s latest design. The supermarket has also been expanded with a new function: the counters of the independent SPAR toGo unit, which is accessible from the outside, keep warm, sandwich and dessert coolers ensure an always fresh selection, and in addition to the usual range, there are also baked goods, chilled soft drinks, and specialty coffees. The modern environment also offers the possibility of consumption in a comfortable place.
The new layout of the store prioritizes the fresh product range, as well as the organic and lifestyle areas, and the largest fruit and vegetable department is located here among the supermarkets. Upon entering, customers are greeted by the vegetable department equipped with a self-service orange juicer, and near the entrance is the bakery and the refrigerator island full of convenience products. Opposite the service counter are refrigerators offering packaged fresh delicacies and meat products, providing a convenient choice for shopping. The milk department leads the customers to the other parts of the sales area, from where they can reach the checkout line with self-service cash registers.
In the spirit of environmental awareness, new LED lighting was installed, in addition, carbon dioxide-based cooling technology and refrigerators with doors ensure energy savings.
