Modernization of nearly 900 million in the SPAR supermarket in Celldömölk

“We renovated our SPAR supermarket in Celldömölk with environmental aspects in mind: with an investment of almost HUF 900 million, we want to contribute to even higher quality services for the people living in the settlement. In the spirit of this, we have not only modernized the building, but also put a grill counter into operation as a new service, and we are also facilitating convenient access to our store, which employs 27 employees, by creating a new parking lot,”

said Márk Maczelka, head of communications at SPAR Hungary.

The size of the sales area has not changed, but thanks to the new layout, it is easier to see, thus providing a higher quality customer experience. In the first part of the store, visitors are greeted by a selection of fresh goods in the sections of vegetables, convenience products, dairy products, delicatessen, meat, and locally baked baked goods. As a new feature, a grill unit has been added next to the bakery, followed by the service counters and the mirelit department, from here the path leads to the checkout area, where customers can also find self-service cash registers that enable quick and convenient payment.

The lighting of the sales area is provided by LED lights, the cooling technology is new, environmentally friendly, based on carbon dioxide, and the also new refrigerators are equipped with doors – all of this promotes environmentally conscious and energy-saving operation. The customers’ convenience is also provided by the spacious, easily accessible parking lot.

SPAR tries to further strengthen customer satisfaction throughout the year with promotions and initiatives, such as products with yellow and red price tags, the MySPAR mobile application or the SuperShop card, which make shopping cheaper.
