Pharmacies have nearly 7 billion annual revenues from the chemicals category
According to the Retail Index of Nielsen market research company; in the supply of the pharmacies, chemicals categories are playing an increasing role, reaching nearly 7 billion HUF revenues, between September 2009 and August 2010.
From the nearly 7 billion HUF revenue, the facial and eye wrinkle creams have 19 percent share, while body creams have 16 percent share. It should be noted that the total cosmetics and household product retail sales stabilizes. Indeed, in January-August this year, retail revenues did not change in both in value and quantity. Among the sales channels pharmacies and drugstores reached a slight increase.
