The KSH reported about nearly 600 million euros export surplus
In May, exports in euro were up 0.2 percent, imports increased by 2.9 percent, compared to the same period of last year.
Foreign trade surplus was 596 million euros, 226 million euros less than last year’s May, according to the second estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
According to its first estimate, released on 10 July, exports declined by 0.1 percent, so export surplus was down by 19 million euros.
In May, the value of exports was 9,080 billion euros, and the value of imports was 8,484 billion euros. (MTI)
