The issue of generational change is current in nearly 150,000 companies in Hungary today
Drastic changes are taking place quietly in the global labor market, because according to forecasts, by 2025, 27% of active employees will already be from generation Z. There are more and more young managers and company leaders, generational change is a current issue in 145,000 companies in Hungary alone. This age group has a tremendous sense of mission: they are only willing to commit themselves to goals and companies with which they can identify, but at the same time, it is a big question whether they will be able to realize all this in the leadership chair. According to András Avidor, business development and networking expert, the new-generation management culture has enormous potential.
We can also experience in everyday life how much our workplace behavior and attitude is determined by the socio-economic environment in which we grew up. The last representatives of baby boomers, famous for their loyalty to teams and companies and their adherence to traditional power structures, are retiring from corporations. On the other hand, the members of generation Z, who are currently flooding the labor market, like to push the boundaries, are used to the constant flow of information, as well as quickly acquired positions and goods. This also characterizes them in the workplace, so it is no wonder that many are skeptical of young colleagues, according to recent surveys, 40% of managers believe that generation Z is not prepared for the everyday challenges they face when they enter the labor market.
