Public Procurement Authority: last year 7 percent of all public procurement was linked to the agricultural sector
Almost 7 percent of all public procurement last year was attributable to the agricultural sector – Rigó Csaba Balázs, President of the Public Procurement Authority told M1 news channel.
The president said that if the value of the 694 procurements is considered, the sector would have gained 5 percent of the total, or about 176 billion HUF.
He also said that since there are many areas of the economy where public money is being used, it must be as effective as private investment. (MTI)
