Responsible Gastro Hero Foundation: a sourdough and kombucha sharing campaign
Marking World Food Day on 16 October, the Responsible Gastro Hero Foundation is launching a community fermentation campaign, titled “Share your kombucha! Share your sourdough!”

Kombucha contains natural probiotics, antioxidants, and organic acids that have a beneficial effect on digestion and the immune system

The objective of the initiative is to bring sourdough, kombucha or water kefir to as many households as possible, thereby supporting the spread of home fermentation and local food self-sufficiency. Fermented foods aren’t only healthy, but also easy and cheap to make.
