Germans attached to the PICK brand
According to Gábor Ámann, sales and marketing director of PICK-Szeged, they are forced to boost export, in order to be able to produce premium products on an economic scale. At present, the domestic market accounts for two-thirds of their production and one-third is exported. Alcisa-PICK is a joint venture for supplying the German market, which accounts for 60 percent of total exports. PICK winter salami is present in all major German retail chains, while their second brand called Aldi Iska is present in discounts.
