World Coffee Day was celebrated in Budapest with a tasting
An event called A Coffee Day celebrated World Coffee Day on Sunday with a coffee tasting, a coffee blend championship, a coffee machine presentation and professional discussions at Akvárium Klub in Budapest.
The Coffee Day event was held in Budapest for the eleventh time in honor of World Coffee Day, during which Hungarian roasters, international coffee distributors, and baristas awaited visitors with a number of specialties, from top-quality espressos to coffee cocktails or smart coffee devices.
It was announced that those interested could meet special (specialty) coffees at the exhibitors, who prepared unlimited tasting espressos, filter coffees and milky coffee drinks from top-quality items harvested in the best growing areas of the world. There were also coffees available that are rarely commercially available, go into the cups of Michelin-starred restaurants or are only available in limited quantities in some new-wave cafes. The eisbock-type condensed milk, which was developed with the help of top baristas, was also presented at the event.
