The Villányi Franc to debut at a tasting day
Fifteen wineries at five spots will present the Villányi Franc that was chosen as the special kind of wine of the Villány wine region at the Villány invites Loire tasting day on 20-21 November in Villány.
The producers of Hungary's southernmost wine region a few years ago decided to form a joint strategy; and as a part they searhed for a special breed for Villány. It was clear that this wine should be Cabernet Franc and the decision was proved by foreign professional feedbacks and race results as well – Gere Andrea winemaker told at a press conference on Monday in Budapest adding that this will be the first large-scale introduction of the Villányi Franc for the general public.
One can register to the tasting day at the http://villanyiborvidek.hu/hu/franc-kostolonap-2015-11-21 website. (MTI)
