Kosher goose from Csengele
A kosher slaughter house and poultry processor is being built in Csengele, Csongrád County with a greenfield investment of approximately 2.8 billion HUF. At the end of development, the plant will employ 260 people.
To the first phase of the investment of the QP Kft. founded in 2014, the Hungarian Export-Import Bank Zrt. (Eximbank) will provide a loan of 1.75 billion HUF. The QP Kft. is majority-owned by the Unified Hungarian Israelite Community (EMIH). As the continuation of the project – expected to be completed in 2018 – a processing plant will be created from 700-800 million HUF, which broadens the range of products and enables the production of higher value-added commodities.
