The coronavirus is boosting demand for durable foods
Coronavirus disease is on the rise in Europe, prompting people to accumulate durable foods in Hungary as well – privatbankar.hu wrote.
The National Trade Association, which includes members of Tesco, Aldi, Spar, Lidl, Auchan and other supermarket chains, said in a statement Thursday that while demand for some durable foods at member companies has increased slightly yesterday, it will not be a problem. They say that shelves that have been “looted” may be filled up a little slower, but every member firm will be able to handle the situation. (Privatbankar.hu)
