Environmental campaign for the recycling of glass

European Glass Packaging Association has launched an innovative environmental protection campaign, in order to draw attention to the importance of recycling and the benefits of bottles. The Web site of the campaign is available from August in Hungary.

The Friends of Glass, non-profit movement was founded by European Glass Packaging Association to draw the consumers attention on the potential of glass. The aim was to increase the recycling rate, because the European Union plan to increase the recycling rate of glass from 25 percent of 2008 to 60 percent until 2012.
