Agreements with the Catholic Church restrict the opening hours in a few stores in Slovakia
Two business networks in Slovakia restricted its Sunday opening hours of a few of its stores, due to an agreement signed with the Catholic Church – the Sme Slovak daily reports.
According to the information, the restrictions (closure on Sunday) affects 2 Lidl and 2 Tesco stores in Bratislava and in nearby settlements.
Tesco says that the two commercial real estates are owned by the church, while Lidl’s two stores are located right next to churches. (Starovic Tibor, MTI)
