An early shopping fever broke out – to the delight of retailers
NRF – the world’s biggest retail organisation surveyed 8,500 people and found that 51.4 percent of North American shoppers have already started buying Christmas presents. At the same time retailers have already started Christmas promotions so consumers have not been disappointed. 6 out of 10 consumers buy clothes or accessories, 43.1 percent purchase toys, 30.1 percent also give food or sweets. 32.2 percent buy some kind of consumer electronics product and 24 percent opt for beauty products.
