Koppány Levente won the Central European semifinal of S.Pellegrino Young Chef competiton
After the most talented young chefs from the Central European region demonstrated their culinary courage, Koppány Levente won the competition and will be able to take part in the S.Pellegrino Young Chef final on May 8-9, 2020 in Milan.
The jury chose Koppány Levente’s rainbow trout with turmeric, wild mushrooms and wild garlic to be the best.
“It is a great honor to be able to represent Hungary and the entire Central European region at the finals in Milan at such a prestigious competition as S.Pellegrino Young Chef. I do fishing myself, so I travel a lot in the region to catch a really distinctive freshwater fish, trout. In my winning dish, the ingredients of the side dish alo came from the waterside. I would like to emphasize how nature and its conservation are important to me” – Koppány Levente said.
