Kopint-Tárki: GDP increases 0.5 this year and will grow by 1.5 percent in 2014
Kopint-Tárki has improved its previous growth forecast. According to the research company, the Hungarian gross domestic product (GDP) will increase by 0.5 in 2013 and by 1.5 percent in 2014 – Palócz Éva CEO described the latest autumn forecast on Friday in Budapest at a press conference.
Palócz Éva emphasized that the research company increased its forecast of 0.3 percent, due to the improvement of agriculture and the construction industry. Agricultural production contributes significantly to the GDP growth. In the agricultural sector a more than 10 percent increase is calculated – she added. (MTI)
