Waitrose sells ‚tearless’ onion
Waitrose offers tearless onion to its UK customers under the name Sunion. The ’brown, tearless and sweet’ onions have taken over 30 years to perfect. The produce was originally developed by the agricultural giant Bayer, but is now owned by BASF.
