Conference on sustainable food production
It is becoming increasingly important to reduce the impact of agricultural production on natural resources.
The laws aim to reduce negative environmental impacts are inevitably affect the market developments in the short term, as well as the voluntary standards, but in Hungary, the food business operators are not paying enough attention to the problem.
The International Conference on the Environmental Sustainability of Short-Term Agri-Economic Prospects was organized by the Agricultural Research Institute (AKI), the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) on 9 May 2017. About 200 people participated at the event in Budapest.
