Sales concentration
Between December 2014 and July 2015 praline sales exceeded HUF 14 billion, growing by 3 percent from the base period; volume sales stayed put. From confectionery sales pralines’ is the most concentrated: 72 percent of value sales are realised in stores bigger than 400m². 83 percent of pralines sold were manufacturer brands. In the first half of 2014 pralines were advertised on television for HUF 67 billion (calculated at rate card price). In January-June 2015 no praline commercials were aired.
