This autumn could bring a serious milk crisis
The government has completely destroyed the sector due to market regulation, and the official limitation of the price of milk also helps the well-off who do not need it, say Serbian milk producers.

There might be a shortage of milk in the region
The current shortage of milk is only the beginning, the situation will continue to deteriorate, because the government has completely destroyed the sector. Angry farm owner Josip Mackovic believes that the dairy sector has now ceased to exist.
The government made a very bad decision when, despite the drastic increase in production prices, they began to limit the prices of basic foodstuffs, writes Szabad Magyar Szó. According to him, the processors and traders received an offer on the possibility of an agreement: if there is a profit, how to divide it, if the production is unprofitable, then they jointly bear the burden.
The official limit on the price of milk was a bad decision, because the social protection of the country should take care of those citizens who are not in a financial position to buy milk, but instead the state protects those for whom the price of milk does not matter – said Josip Mackovic.
