Two German chains are fighting with each other
Although Pepco and KIK are still popular, the competition has reared its head in Hungary as well: the German TEDi store network is already present in 11 countries, including ours, and is continuing to grow. Although TEDi is still a fairly new competitor in the sector, according to the Pénzcentrum survey, 8 percent of customers see it as a favorite in the list of industrial goods stores.

In Germany, they go head-to-head, and TEDi is coming up here as well
At TEDi, only a hair less number of people nominated KiK as their favorite, but the overwhelming majority are still Pepcós. 36 percent of voters especially like to shop at Pepco. A significant 14.4 percent do not like any of the three stores.
Pepco has the most stores, so it’s no wonder that it also leads in terms of net sales and profit after tax. In the popularity contest, however, its priority is not so clear, because based on the Pénzcentrum’s votes, a third of customers like KiK and Pepco equally. Moreover, even though TEDi has not been around for a long time and has few stores, it has already emerged as a favorite of 8 percent of customers.
