Kométa: 55 tons less salt in a year
One year ago Kométa started a programme for cutting the salt content of blue-label products by 25 percent. At the moment about 70 percent of their product selection is low-salt. In the 12 months since the launch of the programme Kométa used 55 tons less salt in production. Managing director Giacomo Pedranzini informed that their products are glutamate-, soy- and gluten-free as well, plus some of them contain no lactose and milk protein either. //
