Coca-Cola HBC Hungary will take the development of domestic café culture to a new level with its Caffè Vergnano brand from June 2025: with the debut of the Women in Coffee program, it will simultaneously provide a complex training program for the hospitality sector and launch a social awareness-raising and attitude-shaping campaign.

Coca-Cola HBC Hungary, the parent company of the exclusive distributor of the premium Italian coffee brand Caffè Vergnano, purchased a 30% stake in the family-owned company Casa del Caffè Vergnano in October 2021 and has been distributing Caffè Vergnano’s premium Italian coffee products in Hungary since January 2022. The company has doubled the number of its hospitality partners in the past two years, now boasting 550 units, and the volume sold in the sector exceeded the previous year’s indicators by 55% by the end of 2024.
In recent years, Coca-Cola HBC Hungary has invested significant resources in the development of the domestic coffee culture, including teaching its hospitality partners how to make high-quality coffee. Since 2020, the company has devoted more than 3,000 training hours to customer professional training and professional barista training to more than 4,000 employees of its partners. Coca-Cola HBC Hungary provides a complex service to its customer partners: premium coffee machines, grinders, logoed cups, glasses and other tools related to serving guests. It also provides marketing support, barista training, seasonal recipes and full-service services to its contracted businesses.
