Knorr XXL – family bases
Between 10 and 23 July 2014, after the success of Knorr Bolognese XXL, Knorr decided to create new XXL products and to launch a new range called Knorr XXL Family bases. XXL Family (5-portion) products are unique in the market. New flavours Knorr Chili con carne XXL and Knorr Cream-Ham Pasta XXL debuted in Tesco stores, giving the launch an element of exclusivity. Special in-store presence backed the campaign, with spectacular secondary products displaying solutions. Sales of Knorr dry bases (and of the whole category) grew by two-digit numbers, market share improved (in value) and the brand got back its market leader position in Tesco stores.
