Chlorate residues in food
There is still a lot of the known pesticide, i.e. chlorate, in the environment, and with the chlorination of waters and the increasing use of various disinfectants, it is constantly being replenished.
As they are often detected by laboratories above the limit value in food, the European Commission will amend the regulation on the levels of chlorate residues in food from 1 July. From now on, regular laboratory testing of food and drinking water will be even more important – laboratorium.hu wrote. (laboratorium.hu)
