Pepsi withdraws its sugary soft drinks from the schools
PepsiCo.having regard to the success of its similar American programs and continues to withdraw its sugary soft drinks from the schools all around the world.
The world's number two soft drink manufacturer combats child obesity and until 2012, withdraws its high-calorie, sweetened soft drinks products from the schools in 200 countries.
PepsiCo, will sell only water, low-fat milk and fruit juices with no added sugar in the primary schools. The company will allow the same products in high schools, completed with low-calorie soft drinks – such as Diet Pepsi – reports MTI.
