Carrefour Polska Removes Disposable Plastic Plates And Cutlery From Stores
Carrefour Polska has announced that it has removed disposable plastic plates and cutlery from its stores across the country.
The initiative is part of the retailer’s environmental strategy to cut the use of plastics in its operations.
The company has also introduced sustainable cotton buds and pads, certified by Ecocert and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).
The products are made of natural, renewable, and biodegradable raw materials, the retailer said.
