The wine of the college of Eger was selected
The 2009-vintage Egerszóláti Riesling of Sike Tamás won the White Wine of the Esterházy Károly College 2012 title at the institution's wine competition. The 2008 Selection Egri Merlot wine of the Egri Korona Wine House became the winner in the red wine category.
The winning of the title also means that the educational institute will offer these wines to its guests at various events – told Csáfor Hajnalka, spokesperson of the Esterházy Károly College.
As she said, the jury chosen the winning wines from a record number of about 40 wines; 15 white wines and 25 red wines were competing in two categories – reports MTI.
