It was an outstanding year for agriculture
According to preliminary data from Eurostat, the EU’s statistical office, agricultural incomes in Hungary grew by an outstanding 14.9 percent in 2020. Last year, the EU average was 3.5 percent. Although agricultural output increased more modestly than income – by 4.1 percent – while the EU member states were able to record a -1.6 percent decline in total, the collection of Takarékbank reveals.
