IKEA: New Convenience Service
Ikea has announced it is expanding its home assembly service across 27 sites in the UK in a bid to offer customers a more convenient shopping experience.
The Swedish DIY giant said the service will be launched across six new locations – Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Gateshead, Southampton and Exeter – at the end of this month.
The service is in partnership with online marketplace TaskRabbit, and will be made available both online and in-store.
Ikea aims to help customers with needs ranging from furniture assembly and wall mounting to minor home repairs.
