KISOSZ season opener: there is a great lack of hospitality professionals at the Lake Balaton
There is a major shortage of experienced hospitality professionals at the Lake Balaton this year especially from cooks, waiters and salesmen. Despite the students’ summer job easens the situation, state involvement would be needed – Kertész Rezső managing co-chairman of KISOSZ (Commercial and Catering Entrepreneurs Somogy County Advocacy Representation) said at the South-Balaton tourism season’s kick-off forum on Wednesday in Balatonszárszó.
At the forum, the owners and the operators of the retail stores, catering shops and buffets of the South-Balaton were informed about current changes in legislation and examinations on fiscal, consumer, labor and food safety issues from the tax authorities and the government officials. (MTI)
