The speakers of the World Export Development Forum emphasized the increase in the competitiveness of smaller companies
The World Export Development Forum (WEDF) was organized in Central Europe for the first time. The event was opened on Wednesday.
Szijjártó Péter, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Arancha González, Director of the International Trade Center, the lecturers of the World Development Forum drew attention to the importance of the economic role of small and medium-sized enterprises. They spoke after President Áder János at the Wednesday opening ceremony in Budapest.
Szijjártó Péter confirmed that the aim of the government is to increase the weight of small and medium-sized enterprises in exports. The government therefore helps to improve the competitiveness of companies and also provides support for these companies to enter into the supplier network of the large multinational companies, he added.
