China exports more than Germany
According to the October report of Global Trade Sevices; On the exports world rankings China overtook Germany. In the first 10 months of 2009, Chinese companies exported a total of 957 billion dollars, while the Germans 917 billion.
The trade experts believe that China is now the world's leading exporter. This is not surprising, because over the past decade, China's export volume increased very fast (an average 20 percent).
Due to the crisis, the export demand weakened considerably. The volume of exports decreased in Germany by 27.4, in the U.S. by 21.4, and in China by 20.4 percent – reports portfolio.hu.
