China is Hungary’s most important non-European foreign trade partner. According to the estimates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2018 foreign trade between the two countries was close to 9 billion USD – the Minister of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told in Budapest.
Menczer Tamás at the China (Henan Province) – Hungary Economic and Trade Conference also pointed out that there are currently 4.5 billion USD Chinese investments in Hungary, and Chinese companies in the country are providing jobs to15,000 Hungarians. (MTI)
