The rate of expansion of air passenger traffic has reached a nine-year low
According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the growth rate of air passenger traffic declined to a nine year low to 3.1 percent in March, compared to the previous year’s level.
The analysis of the Montréal-based commercial organization, sent to MTI on Wednesday, highlights that the process is primarily driven by the shift of Easter to April. The seasonally adjusted data show a 4.1 percent increase, compared to March last year. (MTI)
