Amendments to the government decree for foods containing insect protein have been published
On Tuesday, the amendment to the government decree on food information related to foods containing insect protein was published on the government website.
It states that the name of every food containing insect protein must be labeled with the font size at least the same as that used for the product name. The food contains insect protein!” term, and food products containing insect protein must be displayed in a separate way for customers when they are placed on the market.
The new regulations for non-prepackaged food sold in stores; they also apply to prepackaged foods that can be ordered online or sold in stores.
