This year’s winners of the Parliament’s Wine title have been announced

Parliament wines were selected from 218 items
According to the national tradition, the very first act of Hungarian history in the Carpathian Basin, the blood contract, is also connected to wine – the Speaker of the National Assembly reminded in his greeting before the award ceremony.
Kövér László emphasized that the relationship between Hungarians and wine goes far beyond the cultivation of an agricultural culture. “Wine, viticulture has always been with us throughout the bright and bloodthirsty centuries of our history, as it has been for the past two years,” he said. (MTI)
