The Nébih withdrew cucumbers from circulation
Not allowed pesticides have been detected in a retailer’s cucumber in Tolna County, therefore the product was withdrawn from the market – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) told MTI.
The lab tests of the samples showed the insecticide active ingredients – acephate and methamidophos – over the limit. The use of these pesticides is not allowed in Hungary nor in any other EU Member States. (MTI)
