TISZA-COOP pays special attention to domestic products
This year TISZA-COOP Zrt. won the trade special prize of the Retail Award of Excellence for Hungarian Products 2024 competition, which the company received with great pride.

Since its foundation nearly 30 years ago, the COOP Group’s business policy has focused on partnering with Hungarian food companies and on the distribution of quality Hungarian products. As a result of this, the proportion of domestic products on store shelves has been stable at over 80% for many years.

In manufacturing its more than 900 private label products, COOP cooperates primarily with Hungarian suppliers, so more than 90% of them are Hungarian-made. Altogether 117 private label products bear the Hungarian Product trademark. Founded in 1992, TISZA-COOP Zrt. offers wholesale logistics services to the 5,000 FMCG stores belonging to the COOP network of 12 counties. The company’s sales revenue was HUF 71.7bn in 2023 and its two largest owners are Szolnok-based COOP Szolnok Zrt. and Jászberény-based CO-OP Star Zrt. In every store the chains pays special attention to presenting and selling local products. //
