It turned out how much cash was in circulation in December 2020
According to the data, the average stock of cash in circulation was 7,332 billion HUF, which is an increase of 149.1 billion HUF compared to the end of November. According to the MNB, the increase is mainly due to the seasonal effects at the end of the year. The increase in cash holdings can be registered despite the significant efforts made in recent years to spread various electronic payment solutions. (origo)
