Who is killing the great chefs of Europe?
A famous French chef, Marc Veyrat, who is the head of La Maison de Bois restaurant in Manigod, has written a letter of complaint to the editors of the Michelin Guide, because the latest edition only gave his restaurant two stars instead of the three that it had had for a long time. In the letter he claimed that this had made him depressed. In his view the guide’s inspector misunderstood the concept of the dish served. Mr Veyrat also asked the editors to delete his restaurant from the Michelin Guide. The parties will go to court to settle the matter. //
