K&H: Hungarians’ desire to travel has returned
Much more people would go on vacation this year than a year earlier, and those planning a trip would spend an average of 250,000 HUF on vacation, the same as before the epidemic – according to the representative survey of the K&H.
According to the statement sent to MTI on Monday, 55 percent of vacationers have a travel budget of 100,000-500,000 HUF. Decisively – 68 percent of them, as last year – finance the vacation from their own income. Compared to last year’s 15 percent, this year the proportion of those who go on vacation with the support of family members is 16 percent, and only 6 percent rely on bank loans. The SZÉP card, on the other hand, is popular: this source also plays a role for 28 percent of travelers. (MTI)
