K&H: Hungarians’ desire to travel has returned

More people than last year are planning a vacation
According to the statement sent to MTI on Monday, 55 percent of vacationers have a travel budget of 100,000-500,000 HUF. Decisively – 68 percent of them, as last year – finance the vacation from their own income. Compared to last year’s 15 percent, this year the proportion of those who go on vacation with the support of family members is 16 percent, and only 6 percent rely on bank loans. The SZÉP card, on the other hand, is popular: this source also plays a role for 28 percent of travelers. (MTI)
