K&H: cashless payment keeps booming
Smart device payments continue to grow rapidly, according to K&H. In the first five months of the year, there were more than 18 million transactions, 75% more than a year earlier. At the same time the sales turnover associated with smart payments increased by 93% to more than HUF 128bn.

K&H data indicate that, Google Pay and Apple Pay are the smart payment solutions with the highest turnover. In January- May 2023, the number of Google Pay payments increased by 80% percent year-on-year to 6.7 million. In Apple Pay transactions there was a 72% rise to over 11 million. //
