K&H: SMEs’ expectation of results and investment intention improved somewhat
The profit expectations and investment intentions of Hungarian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises improved somewhat in November last year compared to the previous quarter, while their sales forecast stagnated based on the latest survey of the K&H SME confidence index.
According to K&H’s announcement sent to MTI on Monday, according to research summarizing expectations for the next 12 months, companies expect an 8.6 percent increase in sales and a 4.4 percent increase in profit, the expected increase in revenue has not changed since the previous quarter’s survey, profit expectations are slightly increased compared to the previous 3.3 percent.
In the announcement, Zoltán Rammacher, the marketing and sales support manager of K&H SME, was quoted as saying that the expectation of financial results grows parallel to the size of the company. Micro-companies expect a below average increase in sales revenue of 7.8 percent and 3.7 percent in profit, small businesses expect an increase in revenue of 8.9 percent and 4.5 percent in profit, while medium-sized companies expect an increase in sales revenue of 11.8 percent and profit of 7. A 4 percent increase is likely.
