K&H: how much pocket money do young people receive?

A budget is a statement of income and expenditure for a given period. According to K&H research conducted in October 2023, 94 percent of 14-18 year olds have some kind of income. Young people who have pocket money receive HUF 22,000 on average. In the case of the scholarship, the average amount is HUF 29,122. In relation to income, it is important to prepare not only one’s own financial plan, but also the family’s, namely so that the young person can turn to the parents in justified cases.
