K&H: it is time to modernize fruit plantations

The changes in the price of agricultural products for cereals and animal products did not surprise, but there is a very serious change in fruit and vegetables, which draws attention to the current difficulties of the sector – K&H evaluated the latest data of the KSH.

“According to the July data published by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), the prices of agricultural products did not come as a surprise for arable grain and animal products, as it is the continuation of the trends. However, as a result of the experience of the summer fruit season, the fruit and vegetable sector deserves more attention than usual” – Tresó István, Head of Department of Agricultural Development at K&H drew attention.
